First of all- tip your hard hats off to Trav! After a four year apprenticeship, hard work, and passing his test, Travis is now officially a Journeyman Wireman! I am so proud of him! He is such a hard worker and the smartest person I know. It amazes me how naturally everything comes to him. Congratulations Trav! You did it!!

This past weekend Travis and I ventured off to see the great city of Seattle. It was such a lovely trip! Our hotel, the Sheraton Downtown was great. Perfect location. Great Price.
On Saturday night we rode the monorail to the Space Needle to have dinner at the revolving SkyView restaurant. Spectacular ambiance, I’ve always wanted to use that word, but man oh man was it pricey. I felt pretty bad because Trav’s tuna was subpar, but my salmon could not have been better! After dinner we went to the observation deck. We were taking pictures, and Travis asked me to look through the pictures to make sure they look okay. So as we are going back through the pictures, I see this

Oh my! I am pretty sure my mouth was dropping to the floor as he got down on one knee and pulled out the actual ring and asked me to marry him! Ah!! I still get so excited thinking about it! I was so excited I think I grabbed the ring out of his hand and put it on myself because I was jumping up and down so much. He did such a good job at keeping it a surprise, I had no idea it was even coming. That’s so Travis.
I love my ring! He picked it out himself!
After almost five years of dating, we are officially engaged! We are so happy and oh so in love

Oh yeah, the rest of the trip was fantastic too. If you ever find yourself in Seattle, make sure you hit a Mariners game, dedicate a day to Pike’s Place, get Pike Place Chowder, go on a Locks Cruise, see the aquarium, and go shopping! Just don’t ask what the top of the Space Needle looks like, I couldn’t tell ya :)
