Baby Showering

Auntie-to-be, Momma-to-be, Granny-to-be

This past Sunday, my lovely mother and I hosted a baby shower for my adorable preg-o sister. It was so nice to see family that I have not seen in years, and it was exciting to meet the new family. My mother and I realized how fun it is to plan a crafty party without being so crafty. We had great intentions of making blankets and decorating letters to make his name. But when we realized the only scissors we had in the house were kitchen scissors, the plan didn't work out so well... Oops. Later on, I started to have a panic attack when I looked around at all the chairs in our cozy tiny little room and saw all the extra cars pull in the driveway. We were only planning on 10 at the most, and we ended up with (more than invited) 16! OOPs again.

But somehow we made it manage, we all got a little cozy and enjoyed some last minute Baby Shower Games, and everyone had such a ball! It was such a great time! Not to mention, she made out with some pretty cute goods. Is it just me or is everything cute "baby size"? And when I mean cute, I mean heart-warming-new-puppy-snuggles cute! We are all so excited for the new addition to the family! Maryam and Graham are going to be the best parents, and I can't wait to be an Auntie!

Can't have a baby shower without the "Guess how big" game

Cousin Kristin was the big winner, with only half an inch too long!
