What a Schweetheart

Every year for Valentine’s Day, Trav and I usually make something for each other, you know, the whole lovey-dovey stuff. But I kind of cheated this year and got us a couples massage. Anyway, he certainly outdid me and got me a big picture frame with a few of our pictures from the past year. I just love it! He also brought me and my mom some pretty flowers. Sweet Jilie-Bean was pretty excited!



In addition, my lovely chef of a sweetie, made a fancy dinner for us and our best friends Aubrey and Chris.


I did help out by setting the table and decorating. We decided to be adventurous and sit on the floor to eat…


To start out he made a tomato and basil soup, yum!


Then a Caesar salad with home-made dressing, (actually everything was made from scratch even the lettuce) mm mmm!

And for the main course- chicken parmesan, spaghetti, horseradish potatoes, and roasted carrots. Delish!


And of course… chocolate and coconut covered strawberries for dessert!
